Woo. It’s time to go. Art Basel Miami was fun, and I’m starting the day with a free porridge buffet courtesy of the Rubell Family Collection in a deserted stripped down house somewhere in an empty lot through a hole in the wall. Pick up bowls in the first room, fill them in the second, add raisins in the third, past the toilet cistern, etc.

“Feels calm, Goldilocks.”

Which is a relief after last night: all in the name of A.R.T, though. Especially Ryan McGuinness’s show at Club Madonna. Many finds at ABM, including Tadashi Kawamata ‘Favella Plan (Group 1994)’ – I guess old hat to everyone else – and Anselm Reyle’s painting-by-numbers horse. E185k only…

Day three… I’m glad I’m working from here as it can get a bit repetitive. But I’m a little bit jaded as the rest of the gang arrived last night and we tried out Soho Beach House which was pretty glammed up. A chance meeting with Veronika outside The Raleigh and the rest of Wednesday night is still praying on my mind.

But the art is fun. Saw some interesting things at NADA yesterday, although not everything was quite ‘my thing’. But call me an architect, I did like Hungarian Zsolt Bodoni’s paintings.

Art Basel Miami today.
